Attorney O’Neal is an experienced attorney who has laid a foundation of years of dedication for his clients. He is committed to see a case to the end, to go the extra mile to ensure you receive all that you’re entitled to and caring enough for clients to keep them abreast of every situation, procedure, form and turn within their case. Attorney O’Neal is willing to listen to you and to go forth on your behalf, no matter how large or small the case may be.

Attorney O'Neal is currently General Counsel for the Memphis Shelby County Education Association, the City of Memphis Black Pioneer Firefighter, and Legal Counsel for Pre-paid/Legal Shield Members.

Misty L. O’Neal is a 2018 graduate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she graduated with a Certificate in Advocacy. 

​

Misty’s practice includes a general law practice of Civil Litigation which includes Labor and Employment Law,

Estate and Probate Planning, Environmental Court, Contracts and Sales Law, Property Law, Corporate Formation and Dissolution, Partnership Dissolution and Agency Law, Products Liability, Personal Injury, Wills and Power of Attorney (POA), Forcible Entry and Detainer, Collections, Administrative Law, Worker's Compensation, Civil Rights/Constitutional Law, Social Security Disability, Race, Age and Gender Discrimination.

Misty is a member of the Legal Club Attorney Referral Network.

 

Misty was also a Board of Director on the Memphis Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division (YLD) from 2023 to 2025, as well as formerly serving as the Memphis Bar Association's Representative for the Association of Women Attorneys (AWA) from 2024 to 2025. Misty was also the Association of Women Attorneys' Representative to the Memphis Bar Association's Board of Directors from 2024 to 2025 and currently serves as the Community Service Chair for the Association of Women Attorneys. Misty is also currently on the West Tennessee Legal Services' (WTLS) Pro-Bono Advisory Board, and continues to proudly serve as a member of the MBA's Access to Justice Committee.

Karlyne Killebrew

Karlyne Killebrew is a graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Tennessee in the Summer of 2022, and has since gone on to practice in the areas of education law and general civil litigation. Karlyne has served as a Law Fellow to the University of Memphis Office of Legal Counsel, a law clerk to the Honorable Chancellor Joe Dae Jenkins, and as private counsel to her fellow Memphians. Karlyne has served several terms on the Executive Board of the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association. Now, Karlyne is very proud to announce that she recently accepted an associate attorney role where she practices employment law and general civil litigation with the Law Office of Darrell O'Neal!
